Business Development Assistant

Location: Brisbane
 
Altus is looking for a Business Development Assistant to provide field and clerical assistance to the State Manager.
 
The position involves:

• Cold calling new and existing clients;
• Maintaining  our sales database;
• Developing, implementing and following up quotes;
• Identifying and pursuing sales opportunities;
• Building strong relationships with existing & potential clients.

 
If you wish to apply for this position, not only must you show that you have been successful in undertaking the above mentioned tasks, but also meet the following criteria:

• You must have excellent verbal & written communication skills;
• You must have a passion for business development, sales or marketing and want to develop a career in either of those fields;
• Data entry is a principal task for this role,  so a demonstrated attention to detail and previous experience with a sales database will be well regarded;
• Knowledge of the traffic control industry will be a considerable advantage.

 
The position is based in Banyo and a salary will be negotiated with the successful candidate commensurate with their proven and demonstrated skills and abilities.
