ALTUS Traffic People

ALTUS Traffic has built its traffic management, traffic planning and traffic control business around its people. In the traffic management industry the orange sign represents people and is represented in our company logo.

ALTUS Traffic is one of the few traffic control companies that provide 'true' career paths and opportunities in the traffic management, traffic planning and traffic control sector. This is achieved through understanding the individual traffic controller skills and partnering them with the correct role. To aid this ALTUS Traffic employs a full time Training and Quality Manager to maximise each employees skill set and to develop those new to the industry. (Visit our Employment & Opportunities page to find out more.)

At ALTUS Traffic we maintain a live national data base of traffic controllers, team leaders and team supervisors to meet our needs for both call out work and programmed maintenance works. Through this technology we have in place we are able to maintain communications with traffic control staff and know who is available and best suits each job by client.

Through the recruitment process each traffic controller is thoroughly reference checked twice against there actual skill set. This is done via asking previous employers specific questions and recording the information on the individuals file and on our database.

In order to be the best in the traffic management, traffic planning and traffic control sectors, ALTUS Traffic recruits experienced staff with broad traffic control and traffic management experience and a focus on client relations and OH&S. This ensures the quality of service we deliver has our clients best interest in mind.

ALTUS Traffic continually strives to ensure we offer support, training and mentoring to the entire team translating into a proactive, productive and efficient business offering the best possible service in the industry. ALTUS Traffic does not try to be everything to everyone, we just want to be the best that we can be in traffic management, traffic planning and traffic control.
