This $759m road link between EastLink at Carrum Downs and the Mornington Peninsula Freeway at Mount Martha is due for completion in 2013. A major arterial highway in Perth, the junction at Alexander Drive was upgraded to a grade-separated diamond overpass by Abigroup. Altus Traffic was engaged to provide the necessary traffic management thanks to our growing reputation as a result of the successful management of other major projects, such as the Great Eastern Highway Upgrade.
Leightons are responsible for the Hills M2 Upgrade to widen the existing motorway and deliver four new ramps to improve access to the motorway. Leightons were looking for a traffic management partner who had the same passion for improved worker safety and chose Altus Traffic due to our significant investment in improved plant and equipment and greater employee education.
The Highway Upgrade will improve traffic flow on the Bruce Highway near Townsville. Managed by Abigroup, the project consists of a 4km road realignment over the Cardwell Range, including a 180m long viaduct, a number of bridges and extensive reinforced earth retaining structures. Altus Traffic are the only traffic management provider for this challenging project.
A tunnelled motorway-grade road in the northern suburbs of Brisbane, it is Australia’s largest ever road infrastructure project. Theiss and John Holland are responsible for the project that involves 15km of tunnelling including the road, busway tunnels and connecting ramps, as well as 25 bridges. A testament to our reputation for safety and quality, Altus Traffic were awarded the contract to provide traffic management and planning resources for this intensive and potentially disruptive project.
The new 13km Hunter Expressway will cut travel times between Newcastle and the Hunter region and relieve congestion. Included in the project is the construction of three High Viaducts over mine subsidence areas and 16 bridges. Altus Traffic were awarded the traffic management contract to protect more that 700 workers on this project as well as thousands of commuters each day.
An elevated freeway in the northern suburbs of Adelaide constructed over a 4km section, the freeway is the biggest single investment in a road project in South Australia’s history. Altus Traffic were awarded the traffic management contract by John Holland thanks to an excellent relationship from previous projects.
