Armadale Line Upgrade Alliance, ALUA (2023 to 2025, approx. $3.3m per annum): Perth's first major elevated rail infrastructure project. Altus Traffic WA planners and traffic controllers supported improved public transport safety, reduced traffic congestion, and the creation of new community spaces along the Armadale Line corridor.

Leadership That Shapes the Industry
Altus Traffic WA is led by General Manager Britt O'Dwyer, whose appointment as President of the Traffic Management Association of Australia (TMAA) marked a historic first: the first female President in the organisation's history. Britt's appointment caps a career spanning more than 19 years of leadership in traffic management, including her previous role as Chief Operating Officer of WARP Traffic Management before stepping into the General Manager role at Altus Traffic WA.
In taking on the role, Britt has been clear that her focus is on strengthening safety outcomes, advocating for the people who work in traffic management as the safety professionals they are, and advancing the standards and professionalism of the industry across Australia.
Her appointment reflects directly on Altus Traffic WA's standing in the industry. The WA operation isn't just delivering traffic management at scale, it's led by someone shaping the standards and direction of the profession nationally.
The key operational staff leading our WA branch all began their careers as Traffic Controllers, giving them valuable firsthand experience and a practical understanding of our clients’ needs. This operational knowledge enables our team to anticipate challenges, respond effectively, and deliver a level of service that sets us apart.
In addition to our dedicated planning team, our Operations Manager, Regional Manager, and Infield Manager all hold AWTM and/or WTM qualifications. This depth of expertise allows our team to adapt traffic management plans when site conditions or operational requirements change, helping to maintain safe, compliant, and efficient project delivery.
